ini file in doc > my games > fallout 4 then verify integrity and relaunch game all mods are still there (both bethesda nexus vortex) but i didn't touch any thing in steamapp > common > fallout 4 > data mods yet. I download nexus mods through vortex mods manager i'm once uninstall all mods from vortex and delete all. the safest way to do this is as follows: in the mods section, click on one of your files and press ctrl a to select all mods. this will clear out the install path of all files vortex has installed. if you want to stop using vortex entirely, you may also want to remove all mods installed by vortex.

this will keep all the mod archives but you need to redownload the game. if you want to uninstall all mods, it's also possible to exit vortex, delete the game folder and delete all contents of games "staging folder" (but just to be on the safe side keep the staging folder).
